The Crawford-Roscommon Conservation District is a locally elected entity of state government, whose purpose is to improve the quality of life in Crawford and Roscommon Counties by conserving and improving our natural resources for the benefit of present and future residents and visitors.

Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at 500 Lake Street, Roscommon. The public is welcome!

The township office is located at 700 S. Fifth Street in Roscommon
Our Township offis is open Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. The Township Board meets the third Wednesday of each month.
We are a full service Conference Center that is owned and operated by the State of Michigan’s Department of Natural Resources, Parks & Recreation Division. The Center is available to State, Government, non-profit, community service, educational, environmental and those with disabilities. The facility can house 134 participants and meeting size up to 255 participants. The facility is centrally located with in the state on beautiful Higgins Lake.
