Providing free primary health care to low income, uninsured persons in our 4 county area.

Diagnostic and treatment services for qualifying clients who are: working, without medical health care coverage, working in seasonal or low paying jobs, working part-time, college students with no family support, attempting to become self-sufficient and plan to leave public assistance, unemployed, homeless or residing in shelters.

We are a year-around retreat and conference center with facilities available to host your event for up to 300 people, including, but not limited to meetings, camps, weddings, banquets, conferences and training events. We also provide private getaways and camping is available.

Bambi Lake Baptist Retreat and Conference Center, commonly referred to as “Bambi Lake” is a 240 acre site in Roscommon, Michigan owned by the Baptist State Convention of Michigan.

 

There are many recreational activities such as boating, swimming or fishing in our private 20-acre lake, playing putt-putt golf, walking our wooded hiking trails, sliding down Monster Hill in the winter, or just playing ping-pong or foosball in the game room.

Camp Westminster provides a setting for summer camps, retreats, mission trips and outdoor summer worship on beautiful Higgins Lake. The summer camp program allows children and youth ages 7 – 17 to develop a sense of responsibility and self-worth in a caring Christian community. One-week day camps and one and two week residential sessions are offered during June, July, and August. Activities include sailing, canoeing, leadership development, hiking, climbing, swimming, crafts and nature.

Westminster by the lake worship June 14 – August 16 at 11:00 am.

Sunday morning worship services open to the public and are held in the camp’s outdoor lakefront chapel.

Christmas in the Village

Christmas in the Village is held in the Village of Roscommon on the 1st Saturday in December with a community concert, family activities,poker walk, arts and craft show, and evening light parade, after which Santa lights the Christmas Trees.

The Crawford-Roscommon Conservation District is a locally elected entity of state government, whose purpose is to improve the quality of life in Crawford and Roscommon Counties by conserving and improving our natural resources for the benefit of present and future residents and visitors.

Hours: Monday & Wednesday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Located at 500 Lake Street(County Building) in Roscommon.

Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at 500 Lake Street, Roscommon. The public is welcome!
