The Kirtland Center for the Performing Arts Community Theatre Players celebrate love with laughter. This February the spotlight will be on KCT’s Dinner Theatre presentation of “Couples” - an evening of three one-act plays by Shel Silverstein and Bruce Kane demonstrating the hilarity of relationships Saturday, February 11th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday February 12th at 5:00 p.m. The theatrical presentation will be accompanied by a dinner buffet in the cozy environs of the Student Center at Kirtland Community College. Reservations are limited, and the cost is $25 per person or $45 per couple. Tickets are available by advance purchase only from the KCPA box office at 989-275-6777. The Warbler’s Nest early learning center conveniently located on campus near the student center is available for child care during the evening’s festivities with advance reservations only through the KCPA box office. “Couples” will feature “Bedfellows” by playwright Bruce Kane, and “One Tennis Shoe” and “Blind Willie and the Talking Dog” both from “An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein.” Couples is produced by Jomarie Gurnow at the Kirtland Center for the Performing Arts and directed by Jerry Werle of Roscommon. They feature Werle, Natascha McCuan, Jim Dawe, Amanda Thiel, Carol Silverman, Josh Jurgess and Chad Patterson.
