Christmas in the Village is held on the First Saturday in December with a community concert, parade and arts and craft show.
Providing financial assistance to families with children, under the age of 25, who are suffering from life limiting, life threatening, terminal illness, injury and/or disease. This foundation services families of the Higgins Lake, Houghton Lake, St. Helen, Prudenville and Roscommon communities.

We are registered with the Federal government as a 501c3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax exempt.
The Higgins Lake Boat Club, founded in 1947, is dedicated to the development and enjoyment of family boating and social activities on Higgins Lake. Located on the north point of Treasure Island, the Club offers a variety of sailing, swimming and recreational events for its members.

60-Acre nature preserve with self-directed walking trails. The trail from the parking lot to the pond is hard surfaced and wheelchair friendly. Nautre programs are available to orgainzations on site; Marguerite's Cabin is availabe for meetings year-around. School programs, bird watch walks and nature research is available.
